Dialhop

Terms of Service

Last updated October 15, 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Candoa LLC ("we") for using Dialhop, the phone receptionist. By creating an account you agree to them. They are written in plain language on purpose; every sentence counts.

What {appName} does

Dialhop answers a phone line you forward to it, in your business's name. It answers callers from the hours, services, and knowledge you give it, books appointments, takes messages, and transfers a caller to a number you set. You see every call in the dashboard.

Your account

  • You must be 18 or older and use Dialhop for a business.
  • Keep your email current and your password private. What happens under your account is yours.
  • One person owns the business's account. Tell us at once if you think someone else got in.

What you are responsible for

  • Forward only numbers you are entitled to forward, and give the receptionist only knowledge you have the right to use.
  • Tell your callers what the law where you operate requires about an automated receptionist and transcription. Dialhop makes the words; you decide where it is used.
  • Check bookings and messages. The receptionist works from what you gave it and can misunderstand a caller; your dashboard shows every call so you can catch it.
  • Do not use Dialhop for emergencies, to break the law, to harass anyone, or to pass as a business you do not run.

What the receptionist will not do

It gives the answers you set and no others: it will not diagnose, quote a price you did not give, or promise a date you did not. It is not a professional of any kind, and nothing it says is legal, medical, or other advice. It cannot call emergency services.

Your data

What you and your callers give Dialhop stays yours. You give us the permission we need to run the service for you, as the Privacy Policy describes, and nothing more. You can have it deleted by asking us.

Integrations

When you connect a service such as Google Calendar, that service's own terms apply to your account there, and Dialhop uses it only as the Privacy Policy says. You can disconnect at any time.

Price

Dialhop has no charge today. Before it does, we will tell you the price and ask you to agree. Nothing is ever charged without your yes.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Dialhop up, but phone networks, our providers, and we can fail. Dialhop is provided as is and as available; we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or free of errors. When the receptionist cannot reach a service it needs, it takes a message rather than guess. We may change or retire features, and when a change matters we say so in the dashboard first.

Ending the agreement

You can stop at any time: forward your number back and ask us to delete your account. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, harms callers or the service, or sits unused for a year, and we will tell you why unless the law prevents it.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Candoa LLC is not liable for indirect losses such as lost business, a missed call, or a missed booking, and our total liability for anything arising from Dialhop is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or $100 if you paid nothing. Nothing here limits what the law does not let us limit.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state where Candoa LLC is organized. If we disagree about something, write to us first; most things are settled with an email.

Changes to these terms

When these terms change, the date at the top changes, and a change that matters is announced in the dashboard before it applies. Using Dialhop after that means you accept them.
